The ChannelIslands lies 100 miles south of the UK and only 13 miles from France. Itcomprises of a number of islands including Jersey, Guernsey, Alderney , Sark,Herm and Jethou, Jersey being the largest. It is a self governing British CrownDependency. The language is English although French is widely spoken.  

The currency is the Jersey Pound which has thesame exchange rate as the British Pound. Both jurisdictions are highlyrespected and are stringently  regulated byindependent authorities.  ( FinancialSupervision Commission ) It is for this reason that shelf companies are notavailable. Both jurisdictions have a long history with Financial Services.The beneficialowner has to be disclosed to the authorities

There is nodouble taxation treaty access.The ExemptCompany will shortly be replaced by an 0 to 10% Company in Jersey
